A Note from Carlota

If you’re here, you’re probably deciding whether reaching out feels right. Most people who inquire end up booking with me, and I think that’s because I’m very transparent — about my pricing, my process, and the kind of work I create.

I love crisp images, beautiful color, and great light. I’m drawn to nature, pinks and greens, and that golden hour glow — and I’ll always ask what matters most to you so your photos feel personal and intentional.

I work full time as a user experience designer (I work on websites and Google Chrome Store extension designs), I’m a mom to a little guy named Kaden, and my husband Eric and I met way back in middle school. Photography is my creative outlet and something that brings me genuine joy — especially when I get to document meaningful moments like proposals, bridal showers, family milestones, and celebrations big and small.

When I’m photographing you, I want you to be fully present. You don’t need to think about documenting anything — I’ve got it covered. I’ll guide you, fix your hair, remind you to take your phone out of your pocket, and quietly catch the moments you might not even notice happening. I care deeply, and I photograph with intention. You’ll always receive a thoughtful gallery that tells the story of your day.

I’m deeply sentimental — I keep every card, journal often, and have far too many photos in my camera roll. The same intention and care I bring to my own life, I bring to every client who books with me. I work closely with you to create meaningful images of whatever you’re celebrating, and I’m a real person behind this screen who truly wants the best for you.

Many of my clients come back for life’s next milestones, and that means more to me than I can explain. When you book with me, you’re not just hiring a photographer — you’re inviting someone to walk alongside you as your story unfolds.
